CANS Construction Day 2020 - SOLD OUT

Member Price: Free for registered attendees (CANS members only)

Please join us for CANS Construction Day 2020, a family-friendly event focused on recognizing and celebrating the dedicated, hard-working people who are instrumental in building and connecting our communities through infrastructure! This event will have lots of activities for children including:

  • Truck or treating - visit each piece of equipment and collect a delicious treat!
  • A construction-based scavenger hunt with a prize for completion
  • A takeaway construction-themed colouring contest for submission via email
  • A petting zoo
  • And more!

It's Halloween so everyone is welcome to come dressed in their best costume!

CANS will be taking extra measures to ensure this event is as safe as possible for members to attend including signage, contact information collection, increased sanitization measures, and safety protocols.

CANS takes its' members safety seriously. If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms, or have travelled outside of the Atlantic Provinces in the past 14 days please do not register for this event:

  • Fever (ie. chills/sweats)
  • Cough (new or worsening)
  • Sore throat
  • Runny nose/nasal congestion
  • Headache
  • Shortness of breath 

By choosing to participate and attend CANS Construction Day 2020, I understand and expressly acknowledge that participating in this activity involves many risks, dangers and hazards, which include risk of contracting illness such as COVID-19. By registering for this event, I freely accept and fully assume all such risks occasioned during or arising from my participation in this activity.

Note: This event will be conducted in accordance with current Public Health Requirements. Due to the fluctuating nature of the pandemic, we continue to monitor the feasibility of offering this event, respecting the safety of our members and the advice of public health officials. We will make every effort to communicate any possible updates as needed.
