Overview:

This workshop provides practical strategies to help identify opportunities while effectively managing risk. Designed for both new and experienced subcontractors, this course builds confidence in reviewing, negotiating and managing subcontract agreements.

Participants work with real-world tools, clause analysis techniques, and proven strategies to help participants identify concerns, understand obligations, and make more informed subcontract decisions. A structured review approach helps participants identify and assess high-risk subcontract clauses.

    • ·       Learn key subcontract clauses, including scope, flow-down clauses, payment terms, liabilities, insurance and warranties
    • ·       Understand contract fundamentals, including incorporation by reference and legal obligations for subcontractors
    • ·       Identify and assess risky subcontract provisions
    • ·       Apply structured review techniques to improve contract decision-making
