Overview:
This course teaches project managers how to develop, manage, and control construction schedules using Microsoft Project. Participants will learn industry best practices for scheduling, resource management, project tracking, and cost control, including how to incorporate labour, equipment, time, and budget data into project plans. The course also covers schedule updates, change management, delay analysis, resource optimization, and performance reporting to support informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

- · Develop effective project schedules using industry best practices, including work breakdown structures, dependencies, milestones, critical path analysis, and schedule impact assessments.
- · Plan, allocate, and optimize resources and resource conflicts across projects.
- · Track project progress and manage changes and creating look-ahead and delay reports.
- · Analyze schedule and resource impacts to support decision-making, workload balancing, schedule acceleration, and delay mitigation.
- · Monitor project costs and performance using cash flow forecasting, cost reporting, budget tracking, and schedule-to-cost analysis.

-If you register for the course and do not attend, you are liable for the full registration fee unless you cancel according to the terms stated above.
-If you are unable to attend after registering you may send a substitute up to and including the day of the course. Please provide a name and email address for name tag and records.
-CANS reserves the right to cancel any course and will, in such an event, provide a full refund of registrations fees. Every effort will be made to give registrants a reasonable notice of cancellation.
