Overview:
Construction projects are complex and can be hazardous, making compliance with occupational health and safety laws essential but challenging. This workshop offers a legal perspective on safety in construction, including recent court rulings that affect the industry. Participants will review the Nova Scotia Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations and Bill C-45 (the Westray Act) and its impact.
