Overview:

This introductory course series is designed for general contractors, subcontractors, owners, procurement professionals and consultants involved in competitively procured construction projects. While focused on the Design-Bid-Build delivery model using stipulated price contracts, the content is applicable to a range of project delivery and pricing apporaches.

    • ·       Identify key legal principles and provisions found in construction contracts and subcontracts.
    • ·       Understand the responsibilities, rights, and obligations of project stakeholders under various contract structures.

    • ·       Understand the impact of prompt payment and adjudication legislation on contract administration.
