Overview:

People are the biggest factor in any construction project. Knowing labour laws that apply specifically to construction is key to project success. This workshop offers a legal perspective and shares insights from recent rulings. This workshop provides a legal perspective on essential topics such as labour standards, human rights in the workplace, drug and alcohol policies, and workers’ compensation. Participants will also explore union-related laws, certification processes, and what constitutes unfair labour practices, alongside insights from recent rulings affecting the industry.

    • ·       Learn essential from the Workers Compensation Act and the Trade Union Act
