Overview: This course will provide practical tools and techniques for estimating construction projects from a general contractor’s perspective. It focuses on the competitive bid process and how to improve chances of success. The course will describe the evolution of construction estimating and identify key industry groups and designations

 

Learning Objectives:

         Apply a structured Bid/No Bid decision-making process to evaluate project opportunities

         Interpret and analyze project documents, including drawings, specifications, instructions, and bid forms

         Use proven strategies to efficiently review project documentation and avoid common estimating errors

-Cancellations must be received no later than 10 business days prior to the course date to be eligible for a 75% refund of registration fees.
