March 6-12, 2022 is Women in Construction Week! The focus of Women in Construction (WIC) Week is to highlight women as a viable component of the construction industry.

Construction Association of Nova Scotia is proud to partner with the YWCA Halifax, Shift Change; to invite people working in construction on March 7th to participate in an Allyship learning and conversation. Join CANS and Shift Change to learn more about Allyship and be part of the change to #BreakTheBias and support inclusive work cultures.

What will we do?

  • Share a few pointers about how to be an ally
  • Listen to a few stories about the difference allyship makes
  • Engage in a conversation about allyship
  • Encourage you to act and continue in or join this movement

We invite you to be part of a brave space where men and women are changing the culture through their everyday actions and commitment to include a more diverse mix of people in this field.
