**Please note: Gold Seal has now allocated a total of 3 credits to this course (1 for the online portion and 2 for the classroom portion). The on-line ethics course PLUS a full day classroom ethics course will be mandatory to receive Gold Seal Certification. **

Who Should Attend: For everyone in the construction industry. This workshop is for Construction Management Professionals pursuing their Gold Seal designation and owners/clients, contractors, superintendents, project managers, foremen, owner’s construction managers and anyone who must deal ethically and professionally with employees, subcontractors, owners, clients, consultants, employers and the public.

Overview: The Ethics in the Construction Industry course has been designed to help you navigate the often-murky waters of ethical decision making, to help you be aware of the ethical issues surrounding them and, finally, what to do about it. Ethical behaviour in the work place benefits you and your employer, providing you both with the reputation of trustworthiness and integrity when conducting your construction business.

Upon completing this course, you will:

  • Be aware of the importance of ethics in business
  • Understand corporate social responsibility
  • Know how to make ethical decisions
  • Recognize ethics in the context of the law

Cancellation Policy

-Cancellations must be received no later than 10 business days prior to the course date to be eligible for a 75% refund of registration fees.
-No refunds will be issued after this date.
-If you register for the course and do not attend, you are liable for the full registration fee unless you cancel according to the terms stated above.
-If you are unable to attend after registering you may send a substitute up to and including the day of the course. Please provide a name and email address for name tag and records.
-CANS reserves the right to cancel any course and will, in such an event, provide a full refund of registrations fees. Every effort will be made to give registrants a reasonable notice of cancellation.
-No liability is assumed by the organization for changes in course dates, content, speakers, or venue.
