Who Should Attend: Experienced Foremen, Superintendents, and new Project Managers. This course addresses the use of construction management and design-build/fast track from the perspective of specialty trade contractors. Specialty Trade Contractors are those whose construction work requires special skill and whose principal contracting business involves the use of specialized building trades. Participants will assess the various specialty build contracts and the typical types of risk inherent to this type of construction process.The participants will also develop an understanding of differences in contract administration practices that must be made to implement the various project delivery methods. The training will involve discussion on the assessment of roles, relationships and responsibilities of the contracting parties that may vary considerably for each methodology.
